JOB DESCRIPTION

To constantly seek new clientele for the organisation and come up with innovative methods of expanding marketability and client base thus yielding higher sales revenue and profitability to the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Gather continuous market intelligence on the product performance, customer and consumer attitudes and new problems and recommend corrective action if needed;
2.    Work closely with Demand planners to establish realistic demand plans;
3.    Work closely with sales team & distributors / customers to ensure effective implementation of plans and stimulate product support;
4.    Work closely with Product Development teams on projects to launch new formulations or products based on Consumer Insights;
5.    Ensure marketing support in the form of Product information, Point of Sale (POS), Public Relations (PR), and Relationship building
6.    Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
7.    Reviews all major deliverables (i.e. strategic brief, function spec, tech spec, etc.) to ensure performance targets, quality standards and client expectations are met.
8.    Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business
9.    Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team.
10.    Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
11.    Budgeting and Business planning responsibilities for the Sales element in the organization
12.    Assisting in formulation and implementation of Company Sales and Marketing policies.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
1. A degree in a business related course/Information Technology/Computer Science

8.    Strategy: Able to understand how strategy plays a part in marketing and advertising, and is able to develop strategic ideas and work within the scope of a client's strategic plan to execute top notch solutions and also initiating strategic partnerships with other organizations.
9.    Teamwork: Able to work well as part of a team and recognize that all team members must work well together and communicate openly to get a project completed.
10.    Technology: Well-versed in a plethora of application and project management software and is able to quickly learn new programs and incorporate them into his or her work.
11.    Stamina: Having the energy to pull off extensive hours on projects. It allows them to meet crucial deadlines, and it shows their capabilities in creating effective designs in a certain time frame. Caffeine may very well be your best friend.
